Richard de Brabander Senior researcher
Dr. Richard de Brabander has been the lecturer of the Ecosocial Work since July 2021 at Inholland University of Applied Sciences. He is also connected to the Health, Sports and Welfare domain and the Centre of Expertise Prevention in Care & Welfare. With his lectureship, he focuses on the question of how we can create a sustainable society that is socially and ecologically just, and what role social work can play in this.
He leads practice-based research in which social issues in the social domain are central. He focuses on themes of social sustainability, citizen initiatives and the social task of social work. At the local level, he brings together these issues with stakeholders, researchers and students. He is primarily based in Rotterdam.
