Judi Mesman Co-Applicant
Dr. Judi Mesman is a professor at Leiden University, specialising in the interdisciplinary study of societal challenges. She focuses on the intergenerational transmission of attitudes and behaviours related to social justice, such as racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of inequality, both at the individual and institutional levels.
In 2018, she was elected to the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. She has also been awarded competitive research grants from NWO Veni, Vidi, Vici, ERC Starting and Consolidator, and was the recipient of the 2021 Stevin Prize for the societal impact of her research program.
