Jeroen Gradener Senior Researcher, PhD supervisor
Jeroen graduated as a cultural psychologist from Radboud University Nijmegen in 1994. Since then he has worked as a publicist, advisor and program maker in the field of social policy, cultural policy and democracy. In 2016 he obtained his PhD with a dissertation on legitimation practices in community work. He currently works as a senior lecturer at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences at the Bachelor of Social Work, the Master of Social Work and at the Youth Spot Lectorate.
Jeroen has specialized in community development, as well as researched and published on community work, collective advocacy and politicized social work. He is also on the board of DesignArbeid, a foundation in the field of social design interventions.
